I can’t wait to share our beautiful inspiration with you today!

Soooo excited to share a card featuring some super fun stuff from Sale-a-Bration and the new Occasions Catalog!  I just love this little birdie from the Sale-a-Bration set “A Happy Thing”.  I colored it with my most favorite toys, my Blendabilities 🙂  I also used the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series paper behind my little birdie.  I sponged the striped piece and then cut it into a circle behind my birdie.  I added some background stamps from Butterfly Basics out of the the Occasions Catalog and some pops of Cherry Cobbler to set the whole creation off.

I hope you love as much as I do!  And remember, the wonder Irresistibly Yours and A Happy Thing are free with a $50 purchase…what could be better than that!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 34

Hello friends! Welcome back to our Monday Montage Blog Hop! You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the fabulous Dani Dziama’s blog. I can’t wait to share our beautiful inspiration with you today!

Today I have a card with traditional Christmas colors….judging by my recent posts, this is a little out of character for me 😉  This card is simple and elegant and even easy to make.  It calls for several layers of embossing with the 3-step stamp set.  You emboss the biggest image first in Whisper White, come back in with the next leaf image and emboss it with Gold.  Last, you stamp the berries in Versamark and emboss them in Cherry Cobbler.  After cutting your wreath out with the framelits set, you are ready to put your beautiful card together 🙂

Enjoy!  I hope you love my Christmas inspiration 🙂

Shades of Blue Christmas!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 33

Hello friends! Welcome back to our Monday Montage Blog Hop! You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the fabulous Dara Gloden’s blog. I can’t wait to share our beautiful inspiration with you today!

I don’t know why I love any shade of blue for Christmas cards but I just do!  It is especially fitting to share this card with you today since it has been snowing here all afternoon and evening and it looks all sparkly and pretty outside & on my craft desk 🙂

This card was my contribution for our Stamping’ for a Cure fundraiser on World Card Making Day.  That was early October but I was already feeling the Christmas spirit!  This card is super easy and has lots of wow factor.  I used All is Calm washi tape for the base, stamped some cute trees from the Festival of Trees set and added some glitz with punched stars and the lovely Merry Christmas sentiment.  I have to say, washi tape is so quick and fun….I want it on everything!

One caveat on this card….the Good Greetings stamp set is not available for purchase…it was part of a promotion that ended on 10/31…it is so cute that I can’t bear to not use it though!

Enjoy!  I hope this inspires you to make some easy Christmas cards this year!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 32

Hello friends! Welcome back to our Monday Montage Blog Hop! I missed out on this set when it first came out so I was super excited that it showed up again in the Holiday Catalog.  Then I had so many things on my wish list that I didn’t order it right away….gosh how could I control myself for so long???  I just love the set, it is easy to use and the fonts make my heart go pitter-pat 🙂

The card I made is super easy and I think the simplicity is what makes it especially stunning.  Some highlights:  I cut my Kraft cardstock narrower than I normally would for a front layer to leave room on the side for the silver glimmer paper to peek out and I colored my pearls and rhinestones with my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities.  Oh.my.word those coastal pearls look good enough to eat!  All of the snowflakes are embossed in either Whisper White or Pool Party.

Here’s an Endless Wish that you love this card as much as I do!

Okay so I wasn’t sure about this set.  The santa’s are a little, let’s say unconventional 🙂  But I had to have this moose and “Tis the season to be fancy!”  Love, love, love!  This is a cute card I designed for a shoebox swap today with the local girls in our downline.  It is pretty straightforward….I had to do a little fun paper piecing with Mr. Moose’s PJ’s….supah cute!

I sure hope you find some time to get fancy this holiday season 🙂

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 30

Hello friends! Welcome back to our Monday Montage Blog Hop! I can’t wait to share our beautiful inspiration with you today!

Hello there my friends….another pretty fall card for you today!  This card features the pretty “For All Things” set once again!  When my bestie Kimber was here last weekend we had a crafting marathon and this was one of the many things we created.  There is nothing better than working together on projects….yippee!!!

We used the now retired Expressions Thinlets which can still be found on the Clearance Rack!  Don’t miss these awesome thinlets….I just love these sayings.  We cut out “thankful” in gold foil.  The trick to using the expressions thinlets is to layer wax paper between the die and your medium, then your words slide right out of the die 🙂

The rest of the card is easy peasy….we stamped the leaf image in several colors on the card front, we cut one leaf out and popped it up.  We added some cute washi tape, a feather die cut from brushed gold and the final touch of cuteness are the glittered wooden leaf elements.

I hope you like these as much as we liked making them 🙂

Are you in love with the new Holiday Catalog???  Oh my gosh, there are some super cute things in there 🙂  I have been playing with lots of new products and today I want to share something I made with the”For All Things” set.  This is perfect for fall and features the very popular watercolor look to the stamps.  I used the watercolor background image and stamped it a couple of times on watercolor paper in Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry.  Then I spritzed it liberally with sparkliness!  I love, love how this came out.  I added a few gold feathers and some sequins and our luscious gold ribbon…voila, a gorgeous fall card!

Selfie Fun Featuring Project Life by SU!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 26

Hello friends! Welcome back to our Monday Montage Blog Hop! You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the fabulous Dani Dziama’s blog. I have something super fun today & I know my friends have amazing inspiration too!

I am in love with Project Life!  I had been dabbling in PL style layouts using Stampin’ Up products for a while and when SU announced that they were partnering with Becky Higgins and developing their own PL line, I was over the moon!  This week’s project features our PL layout and greeting card that we did in our club on Friday night.  Sooooo much fun and supah easy!

This month we used the “Happiness Is” Card Collection and Accessory Pack.  Gosh there are super cute cards in the set and the accessory pack is chock full of fun embellishments.  I find the hardest thing about any scrapbooking layout is picking the photos, these pictures just jumped out of my phone and onto my page!  Total no brainer 😉

Putting the layout together after picking the photos?  Oh, about 5 minutes….seriously!  PL is that fast and easy!  Gives you lots of time to forever document your favorite memories!  And you can make your layouts as simple or as complicated as you want.  This one was pretty simple but has some nice cute touches too.  The greeting card features one of the PL cards and one of the included embellishments, this is a fast and easy way to throw a cute card together in an instant!

The hardest thing about PL is photographing the results!  Those glare-y pocket pages do not lend themselves to good pictures!!!  Hopefully you can see how cute this page is 🙂
