This Beach Day set is so much fun to play with! I love all the images and the options to paper piece the lifeguard shack the dies provide. I love beachy creations and this one is at the top of my favorite list! I’m actually heading to Cape Cod on Wednesday so I’ll get some real beach time, I cannot wait!!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 251!!!

I’m still in recovery mode from my knee replacement and honestly with all the last minute holiday tasks and not feeling like doing anything except sleep I was so excited to create smarter not harder! I leveraged the absolutely adorable Beary Christmas paper. I created a starry background and then cut a portion from the paper with the snowhills, cute bears and trees. I added a little sparkle and I have a finished project. What a great way to finish last minute Christmas cards when you are running out of holiday prep time!

Gosh it is so crazy that 2023 is about to come to an end! These fireworks are perfect welcome to 2024! I have my second knee replacement surgery scheduled for Tuesday, I’m definitely looking forward to full recovery in 2024. For this project I made an inky background to peek through the firework die cut, I love how pretty it is! Starry Sky card stock is the absolute perfect night sky color, just luscious!

My sweet polar bear friend is checking out the northern lights as he strolls across the snow. This simple card was super easy to put together and perfectly fits the winter season.

Festive Gatherings Fun!

I may or may not have lost my mind with Tim Holtz’s 2023 Christmas goodies! How could I help myself? So many fun things to make! I’ve made a few cards with the Festive Gatherings Dies. I can see featuring these dies in projects year round, they are so versatile. My first card is super simple and features the dies and “Happy Holidays” from Hero Arts’ Holiday Words Fancy Die set. I highly recommend those dies, I use them so much!!

My second card features a shaker ornament also adorned with Festive Gatherings, this time in non-traditional colors. The shaker dies and embellishments are from Picket Fence Studios and I just love, love them! The shaker dies make it so simple to create shaker cards and I can’t wait to shaker all the things!! I got a whole set that includes several sizes of square and circle dies. I highly recommend!

I hope you enjoy these pretties! I am stuffing in all the creating time I can right now, since I am getting knee number two replaced in a few weeks and that will slow craft time down a bit! Thank you for stopping by, I’ll see you soon!
