Snow Globe Fun!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 146!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

I have been out of town & I could hardly wait to get back and play with these snow globes!!  So much fun and so versatile!  Today I did a Halloween globe and a more traditional snow globe.  I love them both!  Here are some tips from my experience…make sure you put your globe lower on the card than you think it should be.  I should have put the snow scene globe lower on the card front than I did!  Don’t make that mistake 🙂

It is so much fun to create these little scenes!  I can’t wait to make more…I think you can put just about anything in these little globes.

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 145!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

My holiday pre-order arrived on Friday and I could not wait to play with my new goodies!  My card today features the Gather Together stamp set and coordinating dies.  I absolutely love the Tags & Feathers Elements and I used the tree slice and stamped my sentiment on that.  As you can see the sentiment is not very vibrant, I think that is because the tree rings, which are soooo very cute!, don’t allow the ink to saturate the wood piece.  I am going to try embossing my sentiment on my next project and I think that will be better!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

Two words….PIGMENT SPRINKLES!!!  These new color crystals are soooo vibrant and beautiful and I absolutely love the colors!  On these cards I only used three colors:  Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green & Gorgeous Grape.  The 1st card is just the Bermuda Bay & Granny Apple Green, the 2nd card has all three colors.  I am loving how pretty these colors are & I know I will be using them often!Band Together Stampin' UpBand Together Stampin' UpBand Together Stampin' UpBand Together Stampin' Up

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 143!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

This suite is AHHHHH-mazing!  The dreaming kids looking to the skies and the future and the sentiments….be still my heart!  And, of course, the fabulous dies!  The adventure die is worth the price of admission lol!  I love it so very much!

This card was quick and easy and really plays off the words in the suite.  I had to add the “awaits” from the retired En Route set.  I needed that word for this card!  I also used the new Shimmer Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, I just love the built in sparkle!  These new embossing powders are must have tools in your crafting toolbox for sure.Silhouette Scenes Stampin' UpSilhouette Scenes Stampin' Up

True North

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 142!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

I have always loved the saying “find your true north”, I am afraid to admit that as soon as I saw this sentiment in the Sailing Home Suite I knew I had to have it!  Of course, I love everything about this suite but they had me at “true north” lol!  This card is super simple but I love the simplicity of it.  So sweet and easy 🙂

Magnolia loveliness!!!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 141!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

I have been in love with the Good Morning Magnolia Suite since the very first second I saw it!  Then I didn’t pre-order fast enough and it went on backorder!!!  Oh noooooooo!  Well  I finally got it and it is just as amazing as I envisioned!  Here is my first creation of many to come with this gorgeous suite!

I gold embossed the large flower image on vellum and then colored from behind with blends.  After that I globbed Wink of Stella on the flower lol!  This made the flower curl beautifully, it looks just like a pretty, sparkly flower attached to the front of my card 🙂

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 140!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

I am kinda in love with the new Sailing Home stamp set.  I not only love the nautical theme and goodies but the sentiments are so wonderful!  Who’s with me on this???  Today I picked my fave and created my card around it 🙂 I think it works for many things but is perfect for all the graduations this time of year!

New stamps, old colors!!!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 139!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

Today I merged some old colors that are my absolute faves with new stamps!!  I am finally playing with new pre-order products after trying to not be enticed by them while focusing on faves that are retiring 🙂  This card features my favorite retiring In Color Lemon Lime Twist and another fave Bermuda Bay…they just go together like peanut butter and jelly…I am really going to have a hard time saying farewell to Lemon Lime Twist!!

And this suite of stamps and dies?!!???  oh my goodness I just love them!!  I did super vibrant watercoloring today by dropping re-inker right on to wet watercolor paper.  I usually go for a more subtle watercolor look but I had kick it up a notch today!  To get the sparkly pens and pencil, I colored with blends and then added 2-way glue and dipped in Dazzling Diamonds.  It added the perfect sparkle to go with the sentiment 🙂

Lovely Falling Flowers!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 138!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

My crafting has been focused on retiring favorites these days.  Another one I am sad to say goodbye to is Falling Flowers and the May Flowers Framelits.  I love this combo so much!  I actually purchased the framelits a LONG time before I finally remembered to get the stamp set lol.  I have used the flower die cut many, many times and I will miss it a lot!

This card features Granite Gray, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive and Poppy Parade.  The color combo is so pretty together!  I used the stained glass technique with my blends, vellum and white embossing the images.  I love how everything came together into a beautiful birthday card for someone special 🙂
