Hello Beautiful!!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 132!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

We are soooo excited to have new members join our hop this week!  Please welcome Charlet Mallett and Cheryl Curtis to our group!  I can’t wait to see their creations and I know you will love their work too!

I played with the lovely little butterflies in the Butterfly Gala set today.  I used a technique I call “dirty watercolor” on the butterflies, I didn’t worry about the lines and just kind of popped in the color where I wanted to.  Then I added dazzling diamond glitter accents to the butterflies, yummy!  I love how bright and cheerful this card is…it just shouts that spring is coming soon!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 131!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

This week I have another sweet new coordinated stamp set and framelit set in the new Occasions Catalog!  I just love how easy it is to create something fabulous with these new items 🙂  This card looks amazing but was super easy to make.  I brought in some Brusho to give that extra pop of color and I love how it came out.  I also love how the white embossed flourish stamp peeks through the butterfly die cut.

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 130!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

Welcome to 2019!  I did a ton of stamping and creating in December but I didn’t do any blogging!  Yikes!  It was a very busy month:  my son graduated from Colorado State University Magna Cum Laude and we had a bunch of family in from all over the country to celebrate!  My daughter bought her first home and I helped her move into her beautiful new home.  Plus the holidays, work and crafting…the month was crazy busy and full!

I am excited to get back to sharing with you in 2019 🙂  This card features the cute new heart set in the Occasions Catalog that just went live this week.  I am a sucker for heart sets, they are so fun and easy to layer and create with.  Do not overlook the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies!!  There are 16 gorgeous dies in this set perfect for layering and making some amazing projects.  Of course, my absolute fave is the big heart background you can see in my card, it is perfect to add interest to your projects with peeks of the background behind it.  What is even better?  Every time you use this die, you also get a sweet pile of various size puffy hearts that you can use in your creations 🙂

Santa’s elves have been busy in my crafting workshop!  I have been creating like a kook and doing class and event prep for weeks it seems like!  I think I have blisters on my fingers from rolling card stock through the Big Shot LOL!  The results have been amazing though!  Today, I am featuring one of the projects from the last few weeks.  I love every little bit of this card from the exquisite designer series paper to the luscious golden deer!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

I’m in full holiday crafting mode right now and nothing says super fun Christmas like this sweet Santa Suite 🙂  Aptly called Signs of Santa it features super cute images to color and matching dies.  I hope you enjoy this card as much I enjoyed making it!

Stampin’ Blends and dies made this card easy to throw together today.  I will be featuring this set in my Christmas Sampler project I am currently working on also.

It’s a blizzard around here!

Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 126!!!!

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss the amazing prettiness that I know you will find at all the stops along the way!

Colorado seems to have skipped right on past fall this year.  It started snowing on my birthday last week and we have had an ongoing snow storm since late last night too!  I was expecting a lot more snow the way they made it sound but it’s really just been super cold with random on and off light snow.  Regardless, winter is definitely coming!!

I thought the Beautiful Blizzard set was perfect for today’s post.  This was my project for our World Card Making Day event, Stampin’ for a Cure, last Saturday.  We had a great turn out and we raised over $4600 for our local Komen Affiliate!  It was a great day 🙂

This card is so super easy to make and looks absolutely stunning!  The cool background stamp is so easy to use…I chose Balmy Blue stamped off, then I went back in with full strength Balmy Blue for the sprinkle image.  After adding a few snowflakes from the Blizzard thinlets die, I spritzed the whole thing with shimmer paint mixed with alcohol.  I don’t think you can see it very well in the photos but this shimmer mist adds a beautiful shimmery look to the card.  I loved watching the stampers fall in love with this technique last weekend!  A quick greeting with the luscious Merry Merlot and the card is done!  I absolutely adore the fonts and sentiments in this set too!  Makes me happy pants 🙂
