I am sure we all have something special to share today!
Yay for April!!! I really was sick the ENTIRE month of March and I am finally really, truly feeling better after the worst series of crud(s) I’ve had in years! It feels so good to be doing a little creating instead of sleeping 🙂
This card features the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. The large flower image is gold embossed on velum and then cut out. Next a couple of flowers were cut out of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. The cut and embossed flowers are layered on another piece of vellum and stapled or adhered with dimensionals. The sweet sentiment “enjoyyourday” from You’re So Lovely is stamped on a narrow Whisper White banner in Watermelon Wonder. The vellum is then attached to the Whisper White base with staples. Some Perfect White Accents and Rhinestones add the perfect amount of bling to the finished card.
I just realized that I have been using this set over and over! LOL….I think I kinda like it right now and I am so not a “flower” girl!

Well this past week or so I’ve had pneumonia! Seriously???!?? I have been sick most of March. I guess I am making up for years of not getting sick…..doing it all up at once. I am so done with being sick though…..I haven’t done much stamping and I am totes missing it 🙁
This card features the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. The large flower image is gold embossed on watercolor paper and then watercolored with Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party, Mossy Meadow & Mint Macaron. After watercoloring, the image is fussy cut. The background is one of the polka dot images cut out at 4 x 5 1/4 with a piece of vellum layered on top in the exact same size. The sentiment is gold embossed on a vellum banner and stapled to the flower image. Final touches are gold thread, a button and small white baker’s twine bow.
I hope you enjoyed my pretty little “hope” for spring to actually spring here 🙂

I am soooo excited about the new Occasions Catalog that is being released by Stampin’ Up in January! I am still enjoying every second of the Holiday Catalog but I cannot lie, I do love new goodies 🙂 This new catalog features lots of fun new stamps and coordinating dies and some really fun new accessories….what’s not to get excited about I ask?
Here is a sneaky peak of a tag I made with a new stamp set and Designer Series Paper that will be available on January 5, 2016. Happy, happy new year to us 🙂
I am sure you have not noticed that I am obsessed with watercolor, the big flower image in the Birthday Blooms set is absolutely PERFECT for watercoloring. I white embossed the image on watercolor paper and then used Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party, Mint Macaron and Mossy Meadow re-inkers to watercolor. It is lovely! Super easy to pop on the sentiment embossed on vellum and staple everything to a tag cut out of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper.
Do you want these beauties right now??? As a demonstrator, we can pre-order the Occasions Catalog items on December 3rd!! Contact me for more information.
