Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 56

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop! You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the fabulous Dani Dziama’s blog.  I am sure we have some super cute goodies for you today!

I just got “home” from Onstage 2015 in Tampa.  I’m actually in Florida for another week, so home is my bestie’s in Pensacola, it’s going to be an amazing week of crafting and talking and laughing and crying 🙂

My project today is a card I posted at the event.  It’s a beauty featuring the Wonderland stamp set, I just love the trees in this set and the antlers….oh those antlers!  Love, love, love!

I stamped the trees in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive, stamping each color three times randomly so they got lighter and lighter.  I gold embossed the sentiment and the cute antlers on vellum.  I added the gold foil star die cut from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, a button and gold thread.  This made a beautiful and elegant card that came together really quickly and easily.

Onstage 2015 was really fun!  We, of course, talked and talked and talked and talked and laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed.  We got into crazy shenanigans with the rest of the Stampin’ by the Sea girls at the event and then at dinner in Ybor City…on Saturday night…uh, this was very adventurous!  lol

The absolute highlight of the day was Kimberly’s selection to the 2015-2016 Artisan Design Team for Stampin’ Up!  I could not be more excited for her!!!  She is the most creative and talented stamper I know and I can’t wait to see what she creates this year for Stampin’ Up!

I know it’s November now but I have to share the pretties I handed out to my team at work on Friday.  So first a Halloween project, super easy with the Mini Treat Bag die and the Sweet Hauntings stamp set.  I just love this cute set, so fun 🙂

My projects for this week are two versions of practically the same card.  I did it in Pink Pirouette and immediately knew I had to do it in Soft Sky next!  I used Peaceful Pines and the Perfect Pines Framelits.  So easy!  I embossed the tree image on the card stock in white and then stamped in the coordinating ink on whisper white.  I added some snowy hills to each card and a simple sentiment.  I used watercolor paper and Soft Sky reindeer for the hills on the Soft Sky card, this looks so amazing!  So sweet and soft.  I also added random glitter splatters with my fine tip glue!  I love that you can control the splats this way 🙂

It’s getting to be flurry time in Colorado!  The leaves are turning and we could get our first snowfall anytime, usually before Halloween!  This is an over the top card that was really pretty simple to make using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set.  I stamped snowflake images on Whisper White in Island Indigo, Smoky Slate and Pool Party.  Next I layered a piece of vellum over the whole top of the card and splattered Silver Glitter mixed with green glue and water over the vellum.  I also Silver Embossed snowflake images on vellum and punched them out.  The final embellies were Silver Thread and a silver foil “Joy” stapled on top.  I love the richness of this card and it was actually very quick to make!

Yesterday we held our 8th Annual Stampin’ for a Cure fundraiser for World Cardmaking Day!  We raised about $4,000 for our local Susan G. Komen Affiliate.  It was so much work and so much fun and sooooooo inspiring!  I co-designed two projects for the event this year and I want to share them with you today 🙂

On this first card, I used the Cozy Christmas stamp set and the Home for Christmas DSP.  I just love the sweet, vintage images in this paper!  Pretty simple, dimple card 🙂

You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the fabulous Dani Dziama’s blog.  I know we have some super cute goodies for you today!

My card today features a sweet and simple rendition of the Watercolor Wings set.  I absolutely love, love all the pretty things you can do with this set and the coordinating framelits!  This card packs a lot of wow and came together really quickly.  I stamped three of the butterfly images in different colors:  Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and Smoky Slate.  The outer edges are Wisteria Wonder, the full image is Pool Party and the highlights are Smoky Slate.  I cut out my butterfly with the coordinating framelit.  I also cut the smaller intricate butterfly in vellum and then layered the two.  The rest is pretty straightforward:  “hello” is cut out with the new Greetings Thinlits; a white heart strip using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits; some Tip Top Taupe lace and the lovely Silver Metallic Thread.  I also stamped the dotted image from the set in Wisteria Wonder on the card base, very subtle but pretty 🙂

You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the fabulous Dani Dziama’s blog.  I know we have some super cute goodies for you today!

Today I have a lovely card made with the Remarkable You stamp set.  It packs a ton of wow factor in and it was so simple to make!  I gold embossed a couple of the images from the stamp set on vellum and cut them out.  I made the background on watercolor paper by smearing an Island Indigo pad and a Wisteria Wonder pad on a non-stick sheet and then spritzing with water.  I dragged the watercolor paper through the watered down ink and let it dry.  Next I threw on a quick banner and sentiment….easy peasy 🙂

I am posting from SLC today!  Woot!  Convention is over but I am staying on a few days to play with my bestie!  Convention was fantastic, really fun and lots of great information!  I am sharing one of my swap cards with you today.  Very easy with lots of wow factor too.  I used the sun from Kinda Eclectic as a background image in Delightful Dijon.  I embossed an image from Friendly Wishes in white on vellum.  I added a die cut piece in Delightful Dijon, added a punched star image in Island Indigo and a deconstructed piece of white jute.  The whole thing came together super fast as everything was attached with some carefully placed staples.

I love, love, love the new envelope paper!  It is sweet with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies.  This project was so fast and easy, you could make a bunch for treats for your friends!  I did some simple stamping, added a pop of color to my main theme of Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron with Watermelon Wonder.  I love how these colors go together 🙂  5 minutes and voila I had a super cute finished goodie ready to go!

Oh my…have I mentioned how much I curve Mint Macaron????!?  It is so lovely and screams for tone on tone stamping!  Today’s project could not be any simpler….I used the fantastic new set “Friendly Wishes” embossing the large sentiment in white and then die cutting it.  I toned down the card stock base by layering on vellum.  I stamped the vellum in white craft ink with one of the images from “Bohemian Borders”.  I can already tell this versatile set is going to be a go to for me this year!  I have made several projects featuring it and my head is filled with ways to use it!  If you don’t have it already, it is a must have!  I added a few quick embellishments and this lovely card is ready for someone who needs a quick reminder that you are in their corner no matter what!
