Monday Montage Blog Hop – Week 66

Hello friends! Welcome back to the Monday Montage Blog Hop! You may have gotten here from the amazing Bree Renwick’s blog, make sure you select the “next” button below and that will take you to the next stop on the hop, the wonderful Dani Dziama’s blog.  I am sure we all have something special to share today!

Yay for April!!!  I really was sick the ENTIRE month of March and I am finally really, truly feeling better after the worst series of crud(s) I’ve had in years!  It feels so good to be doing a little creating instead of sleeping 🙂

This card features the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  The large flower image is gold embossed on velum and then cut out.  Next a couple of flowers were cut out of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  The cut and embossed flowers are layered on another piece of vellum and stapled or adhered with dimensionals.  The sweet sentiment “enjoyyourday” from You’re So Lovely is stamped on a narrow Whisper White banner in Watermelon Wonder.   The vellum is then attached to the Whisper White base with staples.  Some Perfect White Accents and Rhinestones add the perfect amount of bling to the finished card.

I just realized that I have been using this set over and over!  LOL….I think I kinda like it right now and I am so not a “flower” girl!

Make sure you go “Back” if you missed Bree Renwick or you can loop on around by hitting the “Next” button to get to Dani Dziama and the rest of the hop!

  1. I have to say it does look beautiful embossed with gold on vellum. I’m not much of a hater, but for some reason, I hate this stamp set. I still love SU, but can not stand this set. So thank you for giving something positive to say about this set.
